The following tips can help you get more likes and comments on Instagram:
Have a good time with your brand
Instagram, like every other platform, has its own own flavour, and its is a more lighthearted and carefree environment.
Putting up pictures of products for sale or posting them online is not enough. Instagram is a great place to show off your brand’s unique voice. See what amusing and engaging aspects your brand has to offer. A few examples of concepts that can be easily infused with humour:
This team’s mascot (Hello, Edgar!) is adorable and unique.
Your silly and amusing texting tone
Your wacky approach to work life
A brand with as much personality as yours does
Find something that distinguishes your product from the competition. To the extent that you are self-employed or run a one-person operation, you have the luxury of drawing on your own experiences. Everyone enjoys viewing pictures of your cute workplace pet or reading about your exciting nomadic travels.
Try to lighten up the way you promote your company in whatever way you can. In addition, you’ll have a better time doing it.
The more you motivate them to talk, the more they will talk.
Think you’re the only one whose social media requests go unanswered? Do not make such assumption!
It’s common knowledge at this point that interaction is paramount on Instagram. More of your followers will notice your posts if they have a greater level of interaction. So, you should strive to have more people like and comment on your content.
Yet, you may be afraid to ask for a response again if you have previously posted on Instagram and received a huge, fat empty answer of nothing.
It’s been there, done that, so we know how you feel. Initially, when we requested for feedback in the comments, we only got a few of answers at most.
Yet, we persisted in our inquiries since we knew that comment engagement was one of the three factors Instagram’s algorithm considered most important in determining user success.
The more you keep at it, the more likely you are to succeed, as is the case with many things in life. Over time, additional people started responding to our updates. We tried to show them some social media adoration by responding to every single one of their comments. Thanks to their participation, we were able to strengthen our connection with them (and therefore, their feed)!
What we discovered about Instagram questioning was also instructive.
Try to keep your queries straightforward and your replies brief.
Use simple, one-word poll questions such, “What time of day do you like to post: morning or evening?”
Inquire about emoji solutions.
You shouldn’t worry if no one responds to your first few postings. The most important thing to learn from Instagram is to keep track of how your audience reacts to different types of material and to tailor future posts accordingly.
Stories is a powerful way to get people interested
When it comes to getting people to respond and stay engaged, we found that Instagram stories were the way to go.
The catch is that your story needs a call to action in order to work. You may engage your followers by asking them to do something, such as answer a poll, answer a question, or send you a direct message (DM) for further information.
Sharing your own material, such as a blog or podcast, or sharing fresh deals and promotions is a great example of this strategy’s potential value. You may initiate a private conversation with a follower by asking them to direct message (DM) you for the link.
It’s important for stories to have a plan
To make the most of your Instagram Stories, just like your feed, you need a plan.
Being able to quantify your efforts and monitor what’s working and what isn’t is a powerful tool in social media, as it is with most things online.
And without a plan, it’s next to impossible!
To begin with, we just started uploading articles whenever the inspiration struck. Although we received a lot of likes, comments, and shares, we couldn’t say for sure if the Instagram Stories we posted actually helped increase our audience.
It’s not necessary to spend a lot of time planning out your Instagram stories approach. Developing a lengthy, difficult strategy that will take even longer to implement is the last thing you want to do.
On the other hand, try these alternatives:
Choose a couple of the main reasons you like to tell tales. How often do you update your followers? Do you use it to announce things, reveal behind-the-scenes info, or impart knowledge?
Set goals for your tales and stick to them. How will you measure the success of your story analysis?
Choose the frequency with which you wish to publish your tales. You don’t have to share your story every day to get results, since it remains active for 24 hours. Instead, establish a schedule for when you’ll tell tales. Instructing your listeners to “open the tale” in this fashion sustains their interest and keeps them listening to you.
There are strong expectations that Instagram Stories will eventually surpass the popularity of the Instagram Feed. Now is the moment to begin employing tales if you haven’t before.
You can’t just use whatever hashtag you like
You can’t expect to be successful on Instagram without using hashtags. So, here’s the rub. Hashtag spam is so 2014.
These days, you need to plan your hashtags carefully. We stopped using hashtags at random and started researching, measuring, and strategically employing them across a variety of postings.
We moved from having hashtags contribute nothing to our impressions to having hashtags contribute heavily.
Always look at the post insights while you’re using hashtags. Separating your hashtags into many categories can help you reach more people with your posts and determine which ones are most successful.
